John Clancey

March 20, 1952 - June 3, 2024

John, a beloved friend, brother, and father, passed away peacefully on June 3rd 2024 at the age of 72 in his home. Known for his love of fishing, hiking, and the great outdoors,John found great joy in nature’s beauty and cherished his time spent with his loved ones. Whether casting a line in serene waters or trekking through scenic trails, John tried to embrace life’s simple pleasures with a smile on his face.

He was also an avid storyteller, he loved sharing tales of his adventures with a twinkle in his eye and a smile that could light up any room. John's warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. John's dedication to family and friends was unwavering, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear and making time to help those who needed it.

John was also deeply involved in his community, participating in local conservation efforts and inspiring others to appreciate and protect nature. His passion for life and the outdoors was infectious, encouraging many to explore and enjoy the natural world.

John is survived by his brother Bill Clancey and son Tom Clancey, who will carry forward his legacy of love and adventure. His spirit will forever live on in the memories of friends and family, and his impact on the community and the environment will not be forgotten by those closest to him.

A private celebration of life will be announced to close family and friends in the following weeks.
